Monday, July 18, 2016 - Embassy of New Zealand held the "New Zealand - Indonesia Business Forum" at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta. The event was attended by many respectable people including the Governor of Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, Secretary of Commerce, Thomas T. Lembong, Ridwan Kami who represents the mayor and regent of Indonesia and the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key.
New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key, in his speech said that New Zealand has had a long working relationship in the field of trade with Indonesia. Such cooperation in meeting agricultural and food commodities such longstanding between the two countries.
On the occasion, the Minister of Trade along with New Zealand Trade Minister witnessed the signing of cooperation between Indonesian companies with New Zealand companies.
In the future the cooperation between the two countries will be developed for education, tourism, and e-commerce. This is in line with the needs of an increasingly diverse world.
Overseas Zone were invited to the event and was represented by Managing Director Mrs. Mike Sky as well as Ms. Jani. In addition to the Business Forum, there was also the "New Zealand Gala Lunch" where the participants in this event can be social while enjoying lunch.
